Sure it does. What you are probably complaining about is the "deprecation warnings" that are emitted by VS 2005 with the absolute latest PSDK. (Various people have decried the latest PSDK - it forces you to own VS 2005 _and_ Microsoft is taking upon itself liberties with the ANSI Standard to deprecate stuff that isn't officially deprecated - I'm still using the previous PSDK). Add "—_CRT_SECURE_NO_DEPRECATE" (without quotes) to your project's preprocessor definitions and it should compile fine.
