hello sean can you help I am new to programming.I was advised to download dev C++5 beta 9 release(4.9.9.2). I am running on windows xp pro. I have tried the first simple programs but the what i term dos prompt box just fly through. I have tried sys pause and printf with no luck any ideas how to cure the problem. I have tried a sample program and it works fine. I am using a console application is this correct?
