I am using the particular string type because I am following a book, and this
was tied to one of the exercises. They have mentioned the <string> type as
well, but said that the learner should still know how to handle strings in this
manner becuase in some cases the string.h type functionality is useful to
know...
I have done a few exercises with the string type and it is much easier, but
if the book says to learn it, I just assumed they knew what they were talking
about.
heck, maybe they don't (I'm sure that would not be a first)!!
Should I not bother learning how to do this sort of thing?
