hi friend i'll try tell u what the deference between Pointrs and 
Refrence
The pointers is a variable which hold an address of another variable
//////////////////
EX
int x;
int *y;
y=&x;
//////////////////
and saied y is pointer of x
but
refrence is the address of a variable
