[c-prog] GMP Lib for Wndows...?

Hello,

when trying to buld a simple code using GMP Library on windows (in 
Visual C++ 2005) I get thie LNK1104 error (can't open file LIBC.lib); 
obviously this has to do with the static library (gmp.lib) and its 
having been built with no longer supported library; so now I should 
rebuild the whole GMP package; but as all of this is so poorly 
documented- has anyone done this before? What do I have to change to 
make it link and build ok?
