You weren't supposed to take that literally.  That was my own attempt at 
humor.  Handing in an assignment where you cover "non-functional 
requirements" as being "physical trash collection/waste disposal" would 
result in a not-so-funny grade.  I only responded the way I did because 
a Google search for "garbage collection" turned up all sorts of 
interesting results.  I figured you would be able to determine that I 
was joking about the second URL and then use the first URL to put 
together your actual functional/non-functional requirements.
