Are you taking a class or studying from a text? I recommend getting
one of the many books recommended by this list (see the LInks section
on the Yahoo Groups site for this list). It's the best way to learn C
(and C++, you should probably go ahead and learn that instead). Asking
questions about the basics of C on this list is not the best way to
learn it.
