Greetings, Preparing for Xalan-C 1.11 distribution.
I am preparing to rewrite the Xalan-C download page. I have been researching the Xerces download.cgi pages that reference dyn/closer.cgi to find the necessary webpage markup links. There appers to be an issue with the Xerces wrapper in that when the [preferred] mirror is specified in a form field, the content is not passed to the Apache dyn/closer.cgi for use; another random mirror site is instead chosen. I also don't know if we have cross-server scripting issues here. I will be creating a download.cgi with a template download.html file by which the distribution artifacts can be retrieved. The quick and dirty approach is to bring up the blanket page generated by the www.apache.org/dyn/mirror site. At least the distributions are readily reachable. Sincerely, Steven J.
