Hi everybody!

I still haven't had a response on this :-(

It seems your previous message wasn't delivered correctly (it doesn't show up in the mailing list archive at http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=xerces-c-users&r=1&b=200511&w=2)

I'm sure it's something pretty simple, but I still haven't found the
answer...

You need to plug in an entity resolver, so that Xerces asks you to find the location of the MySchema.xsd; have a look at the "redirect" sample.

Thanks again!

Subject: Overriding schemaLocation attribute of XML file

Hi all!

Is there any way to override in Xerces the value of the
xsi:schemaLocation attribute of the root tag of a XML file?

From this example

xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.somesite.com MySchema.xsd"

Xerces will look for MySchema.xsd in the same directory of the
executable program. What I'm asking is if we can specify a root path
under which we want Xerces to start looking for the schemas, other than
the execution path.

Thanks in advance,

Rafael Sousa
