Change index order of attributes of a DOMNamedNodeMap?

Hi,
Using DOMBuilder to parse a file, is there a setting or feature that can change 
the order of the attributes in a DOMNamedNodeMap, so they are in the order they 
appear in the XML file? Currently, it appears the attributes are in some kind 
of alphabetical order.
