Thanks for replying Alex. Where did you read that? It does seem that
activity has dwindled on Pathan and so I guess it could be obsolete. I
chose it because it seemed more lightweight and easier to understand
than Xalan, and I managed to create a win32 static lib for it too, which
I failed to do with Xalan.

Still, if there's nobody using it then there's no community support and
that's a worse world to be in.
