i m new to xerces-c even new for xml.. i don't any thing about
single-threaded etc..
can anyone answer me
1) why building xerces-c++ as a single-threaded library? can't i stop
building before this step specified in building instructions specified in
http://xml.apache.org/xerces-c/build-winunix.html#UNIX

2) one more doubt regarding makin single-threaded..
while making single threaded as specified in instructions
For Linux -
* Add -DAPP_NO_THREADS to define the variable under LINUX specific
options in Makefile.incl
* Remove -D_REENTRANT flag from the 'compile' options
* Remove inclusion of -lpthread
i am not familier with perl script..
in Makefile.incl where should i add -DAPP_NO_THREADS,
where should i remove -D_REENTRANT and -lpthread inclusion
can any one explain with screenshots..
i m using LINUX as my platform and trying to install Xerces-c-2.7.0
can any one specify me books or links for XML Programming with C++.
i need help immediately as my project was struck up at this stage..
