Hi,

You can try building with xerces-c 2.7.0 which is 64-bit compliant on
AMD64/EM64T architecture on windows.

I know nothing about 64-bit build issues, but it seems likely that
you'll have better luck building more recent releases. 2.1 was
superseded with the release of 2.2 over 4 years ago. A lot can change
in that time.

Subject: Is xerces-c v2.1.0 supported on 64 bit Windows AMD64

Hi,

I am working on Windows 2003 SP1 (64 bit). I need to use xerces-c for
the
same.

Is the binary distribution of xerces-c (any version) supported on 64 bit
Windows AMD64 architecture?

I can find one binary distribution i.e. v2.1.0 for Windows XP 64 bit but
that is for IA-64 architecture.

I tried building the source of xerces-c v2.1.0 on Windows 2003 SP1 (64
bit)
Visual studio 2005 environment but in vain.

It gives me a lot of build errors. Please let me know if any working
distribution of the same is available or any source which could be built
fine on 64 bit Windows (AMD64) architecture.
Regards
Alok
