Hi Tim,
parseWithContext() is not implemented; you will have to build the new DOMDocument and then manually importing the root node into the existing DOMDocument.

Hallo,

I have to DOMDocuments and want to add one Document as child of the other. I think DOMBuilder::parseWithContext() is the method to work with, isn't it?

But I always get the Exception: "The implementation does not support the requested type of object or operation". Is the method not implemented yet or is the code wrong?

#define XNSQ XERCES_CPP_NAMESPACE_QUALIFIER

//I want to add source as new child to DOMDocument* probDef_
bool XMLProbDef::addProblem( XNSQ InputSource* source){
 XNSQ Wrapper4InputSource sourceWrapper(source);   try{
     std::cerr << "Parsing your problem\n";

   //probParser_ is a DOMBuilder*
   //probDef_ is the DOMDocument* which has to be the new root
probParser_->parseWithContext(sourceWrapper, probDef_ ,XNSQ DOMBuilder::ACTION_APPEND_AS_CHILDREN);

   }

   catch(...){
     //error handling
   }

Thanks for your help

Regards,

Tim
