Hi Alberto...

Yeah .. it seems like a linking issue. I'm getting "unresolved external symbol" errors.

I've built the lib from the current source release (xerces-c-src_2_7_0). In Tools> Options > Projects > Directories, I've set the Include path to point at "xerces-c-src_2_7_0\src", and the Library path to point at "xerces-c-src_2_7_0\Build\Win32\VC7.1\Debug" .. and in my project properties, I've set the Linker > Input > Dependencies to "xerces-c_2D.lib"

I must be missing some other setting .. any ideas?

Check that the "treat wchar_t type as a built-in type" setting has the same value in both projects.

Alberto

Thanks,

...scott

Hi...

I'm able to build console apps from some cobbled together xerces code, but I can't seem to get an MFC app to build (under VC7). I can provide more info if needed, but I was just wondering if there were any sample MFC projects floating around ?

Hi Scott,
there should be nothing preventing you from building an MFC application linked with Xerces, so this could be a "simple" linking problem. What is the error you get?
