The only way I can see is that you create a new parser class by deriving either XercesDOMParser or SAXParser, and override the

 error method

Thanks for that. I'll take a look at it. Unfortunately, I'm
actually working with the Perl bindings, so I'm not exactly
sure how it'll map across at the moment.
