this as to be implemented in the l10n_uk module which does not exists yet.
Does someone from the community made such a UK accounting localisation ?

Bug description:
EU VAT invoices are required to show both the "time of supply" (or "tax point")
for the invoice, if it is different from the "date of issue". For UK guidance,
see:
http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/vat/managing/charging/vat-invoices.htm
Currently (in trunk) OpenERP's invoices can show only the date of issue.
To make things more complicated, if an invoice covers multiple deliveries of
services, the time of supply could be different for each invoice line. This
affects such things as the rate at which foreign currencies should be converted
(which is set by HMRC and varies each month), and the rate of VAT if there has
been a rate change.
