Public bug reported:

When using a many2one field that has a domain applied, the pop-up window
correctly uses the domain (when the magnifying glass icon is clicked).
However, the web client has an auto-search feature that displays a
dropdown list of values when a user types in just a few characters and
pauses. The auto-search lookup ignores the domain on the field and
displays all records that characters that match.

This means that users can accidently select values in the many2one list
that they should not be allowed to do. This problem does not occur in
the GTK client.
