I think this has been fixed, both email_send (used by the crm wizard)
and email_template use generate_tracking_message_id() method.

Bug description:
When I configure a template in email_template module, I select the option
"Resource tracking".
However, when generating a mail from a lead and receive the mail (i.e. in my
gmail account), no corresponding id is generated (I check the mail with the
"show original" option in gmail).
As a result, when I answer the mail OpenERP not associated it with the existing
lead and creates a new one.
