Peter,

Hi, I wouldnt suggest using opentaps. We looked at that before openerp.
It is not nearly as sophisticated and the module does not do anything
with customer data. It is primitive compared to openerp. We use magento
because we have a moderator/developer here and he makes modules for our
site. If you want to do alot of dev testing check out ESXi or vmware
player. ESXi is a free virtual server you can have as many vms on it as
you want. What I did was create a perfect clean setup. Then I copied it
several times so if I screw something up I can drop it and start with a
fresh pre-configured copy. I use Ubuntu as my OS as it is very
lightweight and fast. I use rsync to download copies of my data and I
have an exact snapshop of our live site in about an hour.

For reference, We have approx 5,500 products and 90,000 past orders.

Status in Magento Open ERP Connector: Invalid

Bug description:
I'm using current stable (5.0.12) on an Amazon EC2 ubuntu 10.4 instance. I have
installed and configured the openerpconnect module ok and the corresponding
magento module.

In OpenERP, clicking on the referential actions in turn (1 - Import Customer
Groups through to 5 - Import Product Attributes) works fine but when I click on
6 - Import products I get the following error. We have approx 2000 products, is
this a timeout problem, or something else?
