Hello,

I would like to thank you and ask you for a merge proposal if you already did
it.
Thank you for your suggestion! However this is unfortunately out of the scope
of the current OpenERP release, so we cannot implement it.

Let's close this bug for now, for the sake of clarity in Launchpad, it can
always be reopened later when we consider new features for future roadmaps.
Thank you for your understanding!

Status in OpenObject Web Client: Won't Fix

Bug description:
As the web client V6 is still inmature, it might be possible to introduce
accesskey support.

I've added such functionality to v5 (
https://code.launchpad.net/~toolpart/openobject-client-web/html-accesskey/+merge/31714
 )
In lack of time I haven't commented there, but the code used is from wikipedia,
and I couldn't find a cleaner way to properly make is work. Thus I might clean
up a bit the JS code, but no major changes are necessary imho.

Access keys are crucial, especially if one doesn't think about it as some kinda
weird accessibility guidelines, but as a must for every properly working gui,
and instead of access keys, we call them keyboard shortcuts. :)

Any ideas on this? We are still using v5, and don't have much time to play
around v6, but will somehow free myself, if there is openness to include such a
code into v6, and a deadline is provided so I can schedule my tasks.

thx
