I have checked the issue more than once in Windows SP2 with different
PCs.
Fortunately things happen to work as expected and there seems nothing
blocking.
I close this bug, however you may re-open it if the problem still
persists with accurate information.

Bug description:
for win xp (the problem doesn't appear for vista and 7)
since the 5.0.11 and with last sources I tested
the automatic administration tools\services openerp-web start and is stopped
with this message :
le service openerp web sur ordinateur locala demarre puis s'est arrete.
certains services peuvent s'arreter automatiquement s'ils nont aucune tach a
effectuer par exemple le servcide des alertes et journaux de performances

conclusion :
the client web can't be used on xp
