If I don't modify a field, I don't have any warning. If I edit a 'char' field (don't know about the other field types, not tested), it asks me if I want to save but if I click yes, for a brief moment, it tells me I have not filled some required fields. A seconds later, it opens the menu I clicked.

You can lose the data you have entered without being aware of it which will cause confusion. An example is the project page. You can add members to a project, see them appear in the list on that page and not realise/remember that you must click Save before navigating away.
