We had a discssion (some years ago) I try to resume * picking list - what is needed in stock locations to prepare sending goods (commission) - based on this we get a packing list * packing list - document which accopmany the goods (in / out) * receipts - for incoming goods

It has been repeatedly reported that "picking" (or actually, "pick list") only relates to gathering goods before they are shipped. So please : - change "picking list" for something clearly generic, for example "logistic operation" - change for something more specific when the context allows it : - gathering goods to be sent => "pick list" ( http://www.openerp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=4535&view=viewpoll ) - internal moves => "transfer" - outgoing moves to customers => "shipping" or "delivery" - incoming moves => "reception" IMHO this can wait until v6.0 is released but would greatly improve the usability of OpenERP.
