This is fixed now (was an issue in OpenERP) so if you update your server
and addons to the latest version and update your database or create a
new one, this should be fixed.

[v6 RC1] Transaltions bug- difference between launchpad and po files

Bug description:
I noticed a gap between the contents of launchpad and the .po files.
For example, with the french translation. I notices that terms like "Sales" or
"Purchases" are not yet translated to french,
So I looked into launchpad, and the term number 227 in launchpad is the "Sales"
word. and we can see the location "model:ir.ui.menu,name". So it should be
translated if the terms are updated daily from launchpad isn't it?
I even took a look into the database, into ir.translation table. I see there
are 2 terms where "name = ir.ui.menu,name" is empty.
Is it a Launchpad bug?
