One option mentioned has been to enhance the error reporting within the wizard, which will be great.
Another suggestion could be to ignore that wizard when demo data is involved and initially creating a new database. The reason is that when users in countries like Australia have a different financial year starting month, we without thinking try and get the wizard to conform to their own accounting standards, forgetting the fact that a fiscal year and monthly periods have already been predefined and setup with the demo data. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of C2C OERPScenario, which is subscribed to the OpenERP Project Group. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/686162 Title: Improve error reporting in Fiscal Year creation wizard Status in OpenObject Addons Modules: Confirmed Bug description: 1.
