Please disregard the connection with bug 633991 (which I removed from duplicates), and only consider the original description of this bug, which is basically an encoding problem in the XML files of the l10n_chart_cn community modules (in extra addons, both 5.0 and trunk)
As explained before, these modules are not maintained like official addons, but are available for update to the community. Someone who can read chinese might be able to fix them. In any case, you can simply now use the newly-merged l10n_ch chart of accounts, in the official v6.0 addons.
