Hello Rucha, In my scenario, I think we can't apply none of your suggestions. We need the chaining between quarantine and stock because by spanish laws, no pharmaceutical product can enter the stock without a manual inspection in a quarantine location.
So, a person checks every product that enters the quarantine location, and he makes a revision of the product lot. If everything is OK, the product can be moved to the stock location. If not, the product is moved to another location where invalid products are returned or disposed. That step is mandatory, so your first option can't be applied here. Your second option is doable but it has its drawbacks... the salesmen often check if there is stock of a product because some partners only buy products if we have them in stock. If the location of quarantine is a child of Stock, every product in the quarantine location will be shown as in stock. However, it can happen that a product will be rejected when we inspect them in the quarantine location, so the partner will get angry about don't have its product on time because we really didn't have that one on stock at that time. However, all the created purchase orders have the destination location set as stock instead of my default input location.
