I have checked this issue again But it is working fine.

So would you please check this with latest updated code.
For now I am closing this bug.

If you still faced the problem than you can reopen this again with more

  Hi,

  Using the version 6 (rev 3310 server, client-web rev 4430) and
  project_caldav module

  I cannot send an email to assign a task (in task, assign)
