I have tested your issue with latest stable and trunk code and work flow
editing working fine with Fire fox 4 .
I have attached a video for your reference for now I am closing this bug.
If you face this problem again in future you can reopen it.

Hi,
The workflow editor completly freeze on Firefox 4 Stable. I join a
video of the Sale Order workflow opened on Firefox 4. I tried with
Chrome, and it works perfectly, but totally unusable on my Firefox 4.
