Hi this is just normal behaviour. The reasoning is quite complex, but all pricing in OpenERP is dependent on a number of factors such as qty, unit of measure, pricelist, product. So when any of these factors change (or the line is reopened) the price is relooked up via an onchange function, and then your changes are lost. To be honest this is the least annoying of situations. The best way to workaround is to use a discount percentage instead of a fixed price, and then it won't change when you edit the line.
