I fully agree with Borja comment #26. I am having the same problem at a customer site this morning : I have an OpenERP 5.0.14 installation with some financial accounts that have bad parameters (parent accounts which are not of type view). I confirm that it should be allowed to change type from Goup1 to Group2 if the account doesn't have any entry EVEN if it's children have entries.
I don't think it needs a lot a explainations ; it's quite logical. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of C2C OERPScenario, which is subscribed to the OpenERP Project Group. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/535109 Title: An accounting account of type other than view, having entries related to it, is allowed to change to internal type view Status in OpenERP Modules (addons): Fix Released Bug description: Go to: Financial Management Configuration Financial Accounting Financial Accounts List of Accounts Find an account which has entries related to it, meaning there are entries which use this account. Let change the internal type this account has, being it other than view, receivable, payable, other, etc. and change it to view, save. I think this behaivour is not right, it should not be allowed to change accounts with entries related to it To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/openobject-addons/+bug/535109/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~c2c-oerpscenario Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~c2c-oerpscenario More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
