IMHO the automatic updates of many programs become an issue. Imagine, having a working environment with Version of OpenERP and Version a of Thunderbird, and thunderbird gets updated automatically and you (the customer) are stuck. we need a preventive procedure which updates such plug-ins automatically, if not the usage of such plug-ins get unmanageable
