Hello Eric,

If we doesn't set Invoice date then, Invoice date write when we validate
the invoice which is proper.

As per your suggestion If we must required a invoice date when pro-forma
invoice then it may be possible validate invoice date and pro-forma
date will differ. So it doesn't make sense.

Because in generalise way, we have consider the validate date as a
"Invoice date".

So this is not a bug and also not a generalise issue. That's why I am
setting this as "Opinion".

@Experts: Would you please share your view on this.

Thanks and more suggestions are welcomed!

Title:
No invoice date in proforma invoice

Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
  Opinion

Bug description:
System allows to generate a proforma invoice with no invoice date
  which is not correct.

Expected behavior when generating a proforma invoice :
1.- OE should insert by default the date of the date or
  2. OE should warn that no date is entered and not allow PI creation.

I think 2nd option is more suitable.
