That's you're right to desagree, but your answer is not very acceptable from a
partner point of view.
OpenERP's strategy for the future is based on the "replacement" of the GTK by
the web client which has tremendously been improved in 6.1
We, as OpenERP partner and integrator, are trying to sell this strategy to the
final customers and users. But let me know how to explain my customer that they
have to choose between fast editing in editable tree views and complete editing
in standard tree view linked to form view. You must be aware that we usually
don't have all fields in tree view for editing as this would lead to long
scrolling tree view and still impossible for text fields.
I'm telling it again, this is a very important and basic feature that has to be
taken into account !
If it is more than a bug, please forward this request further in the feature
implementation process.
