Hi, The configuration works fine the way you described it but only if I include the service product in the sales order line.
I would like to sell the service in packages and so I am using a Bill of Materials. For example, In the sales order line I want to sell a product "On-site installation". This product is "Consumable/MTO/Produce". Also I have a BOM linked to this product which has a component which is "Computer technician" ( type Service/MTO/Produce, qty 10 hrs ). When I confirm the sales.order the task is created but when the task is done, the procurement order of the component's state changes to ready and the BOM product stays as waiting. The BOM is type "phantom / sets". When the task is done the procurement order of the service product should change to "done" and also the BOM product also.
