Apparently you did receive the password as you mentioned in a subsequent
bug report, so I suppose you forgot to close this bug. Let me do it now.

FYI outgoing emails are queued when sent in batch. The mail queue
processor will run every so often (IIRC every 30 min by default) to
deliver them, you can change the frequency in the configuration. As for
the outgoing email servers, you probably found that by now since you
found the message queue, otherwise you can manage them at
Settings>Configuration>Emails>Outgoing Mail Servers. By default there is
only localhost:25.
