No, I'm happy to add this feature in the 0.8.x stable series. Given my limited hacking time I didn't want to hold up the release, that's the only reason I didn't get to it before the first 0.8 release. Are there any loose ends or unresolved issues with it as far as you know or is it just waiting for me to review and apply it?
