FYI: Pier installed JDK 1.3.1_01 on Nagoya and cactus Gump runs started failing. I installed the same JDK on the primary Gump machine (RedHat Linux 7.1) and verified that I was able to reproduce the problem there. I'll wait a few days before switching all runs to that level of the JDK, but meanwhile, you can compare the results:
