Very interesting, although I think he picked the wrong AOP implementation (AspectJ). It seems to me he's implementing the same stuff that polygenix has done (http://www.polygenix.com/).
I had proposed this idea to the MockObjects.com team some while back but I've never had the time to do any implementation. So virtualmock is a really good idea.
