http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=20952 Httpclient problem on JBoss [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution| |FIXED ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-06-20 20:58 ------- The problem can be solved by removing the HttpClient library from the jboss/lib directory, and copying all Cactus libraries to that same directory. It may cause some problems with JBoss, but : - it works fine for me (and I've got 5 different apps running inside my JBoss) - in the JBoss mailing lists I've found people complaining at the old httpclient library, so we can hope this will be resolved quickly. And it doesn't look like JBoss *needs* the old library, it's more like the JBoss folks haven't taken the time to update their library. So with those minor changes Cactus is running on JBoss/Jetty 3.2.1 (I'm also sending a mail to have it added to http://jakarta.apache.org/cactus/testedon.html). There's still one point : I still think the HttpClient library shouldn't be required in my particular case : I'm just testing an EJB, like described in the quickstart tutorial. I'm looking at the result thru my browser, there's no need for an HTTP client anywhere. I'll have a look at the code.
