Why don't you do the change on the client side? Empty dirs get pruned so it
doesn't really matter (even Fisheye has a prune option!). I'd prefer we not
touch the server side if/when possible. Also, I think that once we have
released the next version we can call a vote to move to SVN. I've been using
it for Cargo and I'm really really happy about it.
