No, we don't. We'd like to have it out as soon as possible, but right now none of the committers are having time to work on the issues. In particular, we have at least 3 major stuff we'd like to finish before releasing 1.8:
- finish Cargo integration - refactor source packages, removing J2EE 1.2 support if necessary - build with Maven 2 If you want to help, I can give you some pointers on how to do so.
