Hi everybody subscribed to this list, Last night at midnight I merged the CACTUS_TRUNK_MAMOUTH branch I have been working for the last year and a half with the trunk of Cactus. The changes that this brings are several: +) Migration of the build system to Maven2; +) Cactus/Cargo integration; +) New Cactus web-site;
There was a problem with the Ant tasks - they cannot work with Ant 1.7.0, but after the patch Stefan Bodewig applied in the Ant 1.7.1 and 1.8.0-alpha trunks, it all works fine now. I made a slight change to the Maven plugin, so now it can work with the latest Cactus and Cargo. It works fine without breaking any of the tests in src/plugin-test. The only issue I see by now is with the Eclipse runner plugin. I refactored the webapp and the Runner plugin so that they can work with the latest Eclipse version. Although, when the Eclipse runner plugin is started an error occurs. I will have to investigate this further this week - I know that Ken Dubberly is also working on this. After we successfully resolve this issue, I will cast a vote on the Jakarta main mailing list for we to release an RC. -- Regards, Petar! Karlovo, Bulgaria.
