Hi Chuck My guess is that the testURL parameter of the runservertests that you used is not correct. This is how cactus knows that the server is started. If you provide a bad url it will keep trying. We could probably improve that by setting a timeout and reporting it could not connect to that url. That would help diagnosing the problem.
