I debugged it a bit printing out the stack traces from
the Cactus and WEblogic sides and mostly what i was
getting was a
Response Code of 500 from the First
Call(Cactus_Service=CALL_TEST) to the Server which
leads to a 500 on the Second
CAll(Cactus_Service=GET_RESULTS)...

This is because WEblogic was throwing a
IllegalStateException : Zip file closed as i was
updating the war file everytime. My Ant was like
 <war warfile="${target.test.dir}/${war.name}.war"
             webxml="${conf.dir}/web.xml"
update="yes">

Since i was updating the war file, WL tries to load it
partially and thats why i get a IllegalStateException.
Now that I make the "update=no" it overwrites the war
file... This made the change and now it works fine for
me.. I ran the scripts over and over again (putting it
in a loop) and it worked fine all the time.

So Things to look for if u get a
"Chainedresponseexception".
see if ur war file is getting updated and the servlet
container is trying to load it while processing the
Cactus Requests...

Laurent, Is this the case with u too?
