Hi Sagar! It isn't possible yet. In the future Cactus will provide an MDB Redirector (I had started some work on that on a branch in CVS but I have not worked on it for some time now). So you'll be able to unit test MDB applications.
Once this is done, you could use TheGrinder to execute the Cactus unit tests to stress test your application. ATM, I'm not aware of any open-source solution to stress test a JMS application. <private subject, as I have worked with Sagar on a common project in the past>Why don't you use Respirator and TheGrinder. Respirator is a JUnit TestCase and thus can be launched by the Grinder easily...</private> Thanks -Vincent > -----Original Message----- > From: Sagar patankar [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: 21 July 2003 19:13 > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Using Grinder and Cactus for unit testing. > > Hi, > > I was looking at the Kimble's page for Stress testing J2EE application > using Grinder and Cactus http://mapage.noos.fr/kimble/papers/grinder.htm > <http://mapage.noos.fr/kimble/papers/grinder.htm> . > Is it possible to use the tools for testing a application based on JMS? > If so can some give me guidelines on how to do it? > > Thanks, > > Jit > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
