Hi Malini, Let me try to understand by rephrasing your question:
You're trying to build Cactus from its sources? Right? And you're missing some jars required for building Cactus? If you're new to Cactus, I'd suggest you grab a *binary* version of Cactus instead of building it from sources. It'll be much easier. Now, that said, if you still wish to build cactus from its sources, I'd recommend reading http://jakarta.apache.org/cactus/participating/howto_build.html Thanks -Vincent > -----Original Message----- > From: malini [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: 12 January 2004 10:57 > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Basic Install steps > > Hai, > I am totally new to these opensource product.i have come with some basic > doubts and steps to install it. > From the weblink i got some stuffs related to cactus. > they require some jar files as dependencies. In my ant/lib i don't find > these jars.(servlet.jar,aspectjrt.jar,aspectjtools.jar,commons- > httpclient.jat,commons-logging.jar).Actually where can we find these jars > from the source and they are linked. > NOw i am have a hp-ux system with the cactus source.so i have to build > it.when i tried to follow the steps,i noticed that these jars are not in > my system.what to do? > can anyone help > > > Yahoo!
