We are still trying to decide whether to pass through Andorra on our
way from Carcasonne to Barcelona.
We are mainly interested in experiencing different beautiful scenery
and good food. From the little I have been able to see, people talk
about the scenery and the food.
On the other hand, the people on the Internet that talk about visiting
Andorra seem to mostly be skiiers or hikers; we would just want to
stay in a hotel in the main city. Our travel agent can't find any
listings in his books for very nice hotels in Andorra La Vella,
although apparently tourism is important in Andorra. So he is puzzled
and cautious about recommending that we go there.
We don't know anyone who has been to Andorra. So any advice would be
greatly appreciated - whether it makes sense to detour through Andorra
La Vella for one night, where to stay, and what it would be like to
visit.
