Our magazine, Valira Torrent, twice yearly March and October, includes
"Andorra in the News" a synopsis of Andorran current affairs based on
press reports, mainly from l'Independant, a French regional newspaper
which circulates in Andorra. I am currently writing the report for the
October 1999 issue of V T. We do not put them on our web site as they
are not of long-term reference value. If these would be of interest, a
subscription to APSC (GBP 5 or US $10) would get you the two issues for
1999. If interested, ask me to e-mail you the treasurer's address. If
you want to follow up any particular items in these reports, I could e-
mail you copies of the actual press reports but it would be a fairly big
download as they are scanned in gif format. Alternatively, I could
print copies and snail mail them to you.

BTW, if any readers in Andorra care to send me cuttings from other
newspapers, I would be happy to receive them and reimburse postage.
However, my understanding of Catalan is very weak.
